Can you heat the cushions by any other means than the Microwave?

Yes, The cushions take on the heat or cold from their surroundings. Such as placed on a radiator, although remember to turn it for maximum benefit. Kept in the Airing cupboard and on the Hot Tank when you want it hotter. They were used in our culture long before we had the use of Electricity. Farmers kept one or more in the slow part of their farming house ranges. Farming was very manual in those days and Pulled Muscles, Aching Backs and other physical injures were very common. Hot or warm, the wheat filled cushion eased the situation. The women Cotton Workers used them to ease their aching arms after working in the cotton mills.

Can the same cushion be used for Hot out of the Microwave and for Cold applications the Freezer?

Yes, and when not in use all cushions/wheatbags should be kept in a cold dry place such as in a freezer bag in a freezer.

How long do I have to wait for my therapeutic cushion?

In the UK, we send most order out by first class royal mail packet post same or next day. In the USA, from our Denver, Colorado depot, we have the same strategy, same or next day posting. To Ireland from the UK packets take about 5 to 7 days.

Can the therapeutic cushions be washed?

All our cushions are made in British Velvets Ltd - cotton velvet which can be washed, however, all our products have whole wheat grains and some, lavender flowers which do not lend themselves to being washed. You can give them a quick sponge down and dry immediately in the microwave. Do not leave wet as the grains will germinate. It is this factor which gives us the property to have penetrating heat/cold which helps us to heal and ease pain.
